Crackberry Friday: Pesto Mania

Two pots of basil
16 batches of pesto for the fall/winter
I’ve been wanting to do this for awhile now and I finally got it done. I have heavenly pesto from plants from this summer now safely in the freezer. Next, tomato sauce!

Look how industrious you are! The first two pictures look like before and after shots when my cats get to the houseplants.

What a little industry! And other ‘plants’ in little bags there too? :) PS: Not actually sure what Pesto is!

I love pesto. I am the only one though. And I am so impressed. I am all big dreams and no follow through. I might own basil or tomato plants – but that doesn’t mean that I actually remeber to utilize them.

WOW awesome! I would love to have my own garden but my yard is so not right for any landscaping.

Yummy. Sometimes we freeze our in ice cube trays and then store them in a bad. That way, if you just want a little pesto you don’t have to thaw the whole bad.

Oh I am so jealous. I so wish that I could grow herbs. I have tried and failed miserably many time.

That second pic looks like the potted sweet basil I have sitting in my kitchen windowsill that I’m always forgetting to water.Surely you have far too much pesto to eat all alone… I’ll be over next Tuesday around 6:00? :-)

Oooh, you’re so lucky! We don’t get enough sun here to grow ANYTHING (inside our out) but a few houseplants (and that’s even questionable). Too many trees.I know where I’d like to be going for dinner tonight… :)
