Crackberry a Day Late: A Window into My Stress
So my lovely bloggy friend Carrie mentioned in my comments that she’d been looking for my Crackberry Friday pic yesterday. I did not post one and believe me, I was not feeling good about it either even before she mentioned it. So I will post a few pics to illustrate what I still have to do for this event on Sunday which is why I have been more lurker than commenter.
The first one is a pic of the liquor and beer we bought for the event. No, I have not dipped into it yet. Also are the bags for the take away and other items for decorations.

The second one is the reason I was driving most of the day yesterday. I had to drive to Reading, PA to get my herbs for the take away bags, there are 60 assorted potted herbs. BTW, if you are ever in the Reading area or are traveling on the PA turnpike, visit Kathy at Deer Creek Farm. She is a lifesaver and an absolutely lovely person.
The third is a tiny portion of the flowers I need to cut on Sunday morning for my centerpieces. They are zinnias.
They will be put in Mason jars then wrapped with brown craft paper (so they won’t look like mason jars, and tied with raffia. I need to cut 130 at least of them at Maple Acres Farm in Plymouth Meeting, PA. They sell them 10 for $1 if you cut them yourself.
So, although this might not seem like a lot, this was all Friday. Today, I will work on the jars for the centerpieces but can’t put flowers in them until tomorrow. Also I can’s put the bags together until tomorrow b/c I will probably need to water the herbs one more time. I might rethink that one. Oh, also, my yoga teacher is having an event to inaugurate her new studio. I can’t not go. I am already skipping the Vegan potluck (which I really actually wanted to go to).
I will take pics tomorrow evening of the event and hopefully, I will still be standing when it is all over.
PS – Today’s contest clue. “You slip on them.”
